Introduction
Rafael Alberti, the extraordinary poet and playwright, was born in the Puerto de Santa María (Cadiz) in 1902 and is regarded as one of the best Spanish writers of the 20th century. The FNMT-RCM wishes to commemorate the 1st Centenary of his birth with the issue of this attractive coin.
