Europa Program - 70 years of peace
Introduction
With the heading "European Heritage" the Spanish Royal Mint has issued the twelfth set of coins in the Europa Program series. This issue commemorates Europe's 70 years of peace after the end of the Second World War in 1945.

Proof minted, the collector coins in this twelfth set in the Europa Program come in stylish presentation cases.
These coins may be acquired singly, each coin in its own case; or the full set of two coins is offered in a single presentation case.

The obverse portrays an effigy of His Majesty King Felipe VI, these being the first proof coins that portray his likeness.
The reverse reproduces the stylized image of a dove, a sprig of olive in its beak. Around the top of the coin face, following the arc and in block letters, the legend "70 AÑOS DE PAZ". At the bottom of the coin, to the left, the common mark adopted by the countries issuing coins in conjunction with the Europa Program.
