Introducción
Continuing with the issue of this series dedicated specifically to each of Spain's Autonomous Communities, the Spanish Royal Mint has put on sale two collector coins, one dedicated to Extremadura and the other to Galicia. As a distinguishing feature, each of them includes a 0.925 sterling silver medal that displays the coat-of-arms of that specific Community.
The set is completed by a 2-euro commemorative coin devoted to the Park Güell.
This release includes the set of the 2014 Spanish euro coins, presented as a limited edition in a practical numbered blister pack that protects the coins while at the same time enabling a flawless view of both sides of the coin.

Extremadura Medal
Extremadura is a Spanish region located in the south west of the Iberian Peninsula. It is made up of two of the country's largest provinces: Cáceres and Badajoz. Extremadura borders the provinces of Salamanca and Ávila to the north, Huelva, Seville and Córdoba to the south, Toledo and Ciudad Real to the east, and Portugal to the west. The regional capital is Mérida (the ancient Augusta Emerita), which is recognised as the seat of the Extremadura Regional Government under the Autonomous Community Statutes.
Galicia Medal
Galicia is a Spanish region located in the north east of the Iberian Peninsula, made up of the provinces of La Coruña, Lugo, Orense and Pontevedra, which in turn are divided up into 314 different municipalities, grouped into 53 districts. Geographically, it is bordered by the Bay of Biscay to the north and the Atlantic Ocean to the west, Portugal to the south and the regions of Asturias and Castilla y Leon to the east. The archipelagos of Islas Cies, Ons, and Sálvora, as well as other islands such as Cortegada, Arosa, Las Sisargas or Las Malveiras belong to the region of Galicia.
