Electronic signature cards

The encrypted card, the support for the digital signature, enables authentication and guaranteed confidentiality in communications among the citizenry, companies and other agencies and public administrations by means of open communication networks, with applications in many e-Administration processes, like web-enabled filing of income tax and other taxes, work-related consultations with the Social Security administration, buying and selling Treasury bonds, etc.  For these uses, electronic identification is a prerequisite.

The encrypted card is at once a physical and a logical identification card.  It can be used as an access control device, and it enables secure mail applications and authentication unique services.
