Introduction
From February 10 to 26, 2006 the 20th Winter Olympic Games will be held in the Italian city of Turin.
To commemorate this sporting event, the FNMT-RCM has been authorized to mint and release into circulation a silver coin with a face value of 10 Euros.
Details
Minted in proof quality and in silver, the collector coin for the 2006 Turin Winter Olympics portrays H.M. King Juan Carlos I on the obverse, while the reverse features a skier during the slalom descent.
