The proof shows a new Basic Series reproducing a likeness of the monarch Felipe VI, King of Spain, whose proclamation marked the dawn of a new era in the Spanish monarchy. It also shows the coat of arms of King Felipe VI, as created under Royal Decree 527/2014, June 20th.
