Proof Set - Proclamation
Introduction
The date of June 19th 2014 marks a historic event: the Proclamation of H.M. Felipe VI as King of Spain.
To commemorate this event the Spanish Royal Mint has put on sale a presentation coin case.
It contains the proof quality 2-euro commemorative coin dedicated to the "Proclamation of His Majesty King Felipe VI", together with the medal that, complying with tradition, was struck at the time of the Proclamation, in a limited edition of 10,000 units.

The obverse shows a replica of the royal crown and the legend FELIPE VI KING OF SPAIN.
The reverse reproduces an allegorical image of Spain embracing the Constitution, the work of Ponciano Ponzano, that adorns the pediment of the Chamber of Deputies building. The date 19 JUNIO 2014 is shown beneath.
Coin of 2 euros
On the obverse, occupying the center ground, are portrayed the dual profiles of H.M. Juan Carlos I and His Majesty King Felipe VI, the latter in front, overlapping that of His Majesty King Juan Carlos I, at back.
