The obverse of the coin depicts a facing to the left effigy of H.M. King Felipe VI with Captain General military rank symbols.
The reverse depicts the portrait of Charles III wearing the cloak of Grand Master of the Order which he established, painted by Mariano Salvador Maella. This work is housed in the Royal Palace in Madrid. He stands by an image of the famous Puerta de Alcala in Madrid, with the number "300" and a fleur-de-lis at the upper area of the coin.
